Molveno, with its 864 m, is one of the most famous places in the alpin resort. It lies on the Molveno Lake and on the bottom of the Brenta Dolomites in the magic Natural Park of Adamello-Brenta. This huge and protected area is rich of wild animals and plants; in the last years the brown bear had been reintroducted in the park.

The territory is quite various and the air is made that good by the wide forests of needle and leaf trees, which create fabulous colors on the water of the Lake during every season. Therefore, Molveno is situated in an environmental and esteemed context of high value.

The town dominates the Molveno Lake, considered one of the most beautiful of the Alps. It had been defined “the pure gem in superb casket” from the poet A. Fogazzano. The lake is rich with fish, with its natural habitat for the marbled trout, the carp, the pike and many more.

In the last years a free beach has been realized on the banks of the lake and is among the nicest beaches in the region Trentino.

The Plateau of Paganella lies above Molveno and is situated around the mountain of Paganella and the Brenta-Dolomites. A part of this area reaches the Natural Park Adamello-Brenta. The Plateau offers numerous trekkings and walkways, from the easiest to the more difficult ones.
